British Encyclopedia is the online resource tool of the greatest information resource available- the British Encyclopedia.

As an information tool, the British Encyclopedia has been around for centuries. Covering a wide range of topics, the original encyclopedia was the first to be made of its kind. Since the creation of the internet there has been a vast need to update the encyclopedia and bring it to a new audience. For the first time, the British Encyclopedia is now available online, a free resource of information on the internet.

The Encyclopedia is divided up into 12 categories each of which are further sub-divided into smaller headings. In bringing the encyclopedia online we have tried to keep its simplicity while at the same time highlighting its capacity as a world wide information centre.
